General Prospectus

       The university is organized in 10 colleges and schools which offer a broad variety of undergraduate, graduate and lifelong education programs, some of which are available in English for international students. The student body consists of around 15,000 students, including some 300 international students who come from over 15 countries and regions.

Siam University being a fully accredited institution of higher education, its graduates enjoy the same privileges granted to state university graduates.

As a notable learning organization, Siam University is focused on highly regarded education for its students and faculty, with a prominent emphasis on cutting-edge technology and research, a professional attitude, and superior performance in accordance with the requirements of the modern world of work in today’s innovation of globalization and within the ASEAN community. In such operations, Siam University also promotes Asian wisdom and culture in collaboration with a vast social network and various work sectors which are closely related.

To endow a clear understanding and acceptance of the broad working environment and provide a definitive grounding of responsibility in the idea of a variety of cultures, ethics, and learning skills that are everlasting.

Institutional Membership

Siam University has gained accreditation and recognition as a member of the following organizations:

International Association of Universities (IAU)

IAU is the UNESCO-based World Association of Universities. Founded in 1950, it regroups more than 600 Members from approximately 120 different countries.

International Association of University Presidents (IAUP)

The International Association of University Presidents(IAUP) is an association of university chief executives from higher education institutions around the world. The primary purpose is to strengthen the international mission and quality of education of these institutions.

International Association of Hotel Schools (EUHOFA)

EUHOFA INTERNATIONAL is an association of hotelschools, represented by presidents, vice precidents and deans from the best hospitality schools, colleges and universities in the world, with a common purpose: to enhance the quality of training of the tourism industy throughout the world.

Association of Southeast Asian Institutions of Higher Learning (ASAIHL)

The Association of Southeast Asian Institutions of Higher Learning (ASAIHL) was established in 1956 to support universities in the promotion of excellence in teaching, learning and national and regional public service.

Asian Regional Training and Development Organization (ARTDO)

ARTDO International is a non-political, non-stock, non-profit organization, designed to encourage, support and carry out activities dedicated to promote human resource development – a pre-condition to economic growth and progress.

Association of Universities in Asia and the Pacific (AUAP)

At Present, AUAP has 218 regular members from 19 countries and territories as well as five associate members consisting of regional organizations based in three countries.

University Mobility in Asia and The Pacific (UMAP)

It is a voluntary association of government and non-government representatives of the higher education (university) sector in the region that aims to achieve enhanced international understanding through increased mobility of university students and staff.

Also, Siam University has been appointed to house the Southeast Asia office of the International Association of University Presidents (IAUP) and the APEC Youth Center. UMAPUMAP - University Mobility in Asia and The Pacific

UMAP is a voluntary association of government and non-government representatives of the higher education (university) sector in the region. UMAP aims to achieve enhanced international understanding through increased mobility of university students and staff.
