Ambassador of Germany visited Siam University

Mr. Rolf Schulze, Ambassador of Germany to Thailand visit Siam University campus and gave a special lecture under the Siam University’s Ambassador Forum on “The Roles of Single Currency on Promoting Economic Development in Europe.”

The event was well attended by Dr. Pornchai   Mongkhonvanit, President of Siam University as well as various department faculty and students.

 

Ambassador of Finland visited Siam University

11th March 2014, Ambassador of Finland, H.E. KirstiWestphalen, visited Siam University. Her Excellency was warmly welcomed by Prof. Fred J. Miller and ISMAP Students from SU Ambassador Forum. Dr. Pornchai Mongkhonvanit, joined the Ambassador and other SU Faculty member’s during luncheon and appreciated the Ambassador for visiting Siam University and toprovide SU member’s with great information and insights about Finland.

Finland is the country of Innovation and best in Education, with great investments and training for teachers. Finland has the lowest perceived levels of corruption with high discipline among Finnish politicians and also general public. Later after the presentation, a lot of discussions were held with questions and answers from students, faculty members of Siam University. The conclusion driven was the Ambassador and Embassy of Finland will support Siam Universitywith student mobility and create more future collaboration with Finnish universities for future exchanges and more networks. Her Excellency stressed on investing in Education and the great wisdom is in Cooperation and not Competition, the public right of access to nature is the part of the collective wealth. After the meaningful discussion, Her Excellency was presented with token of appreciation and group pictures. Later, Her Excellency was joined with students for University Tour. Her Excellency really appreciated the hospitality and wonderful gesture of the students.
