Siam University Health Day 2015

A courtesy campaign by the “Young Love” group for the betterment of the society held at Siam University on the 21st of September 2015. This campaign is to raise awareness for health maintenance as health is one of the most important aspects of life. This campaign group “Young Love” is to enlighten the young ones of several consequences of unprotected sexual intercourse, immature knowledge of sexual transmitted disease, and premature pregnancy. This group’s project mission at Siam University focused to educate nursing students who prepare for the future in the medical department. The desire to serve as health officials, coupled with the urgent necessity of its service to the society has always been a driving factor for most Students who enroll into Nursing at Siam University.

The faculty of Nursing at Siam University is a popularly recognized institution for training of quality Nurses who work in various Thai health agencies. Siam University has also been working in line with the requirements prescribed to it by the Thai Ministry of Higher Education and Thai Health Agency in its training of the Nurses. It is undoubtedly that the University is working in conjunction with the new found urgent demands of the society for qualified health officials.

It is also unquestionably that Siam University is playing a pivotal role in the future of the country by producing academically sound and well-to-do youths whom the future of the country is on the safety side.

Sexual issues are sensitive subjects and most often parents hardly discussed such with their children. Siam University thought it would be wise to invite the group “Young Love” to enlighten her students for a possible knowledge needed for a guided future.

At this period, Siam University president Dr. Pornchai Mongkhonvanit presented an incentive package to empower the group for a job well done and also expressed gratitude for such service in institutions.
