Instructors at Siam have access to a wide range of resources to prepare their classes or do research. The central library gives access to printed publications (journals, textbooks, theses, newspapers and magazines) in Thai, English and oher languages. It also has a section for audio-visual documents and a digital library. The university also subscribes to a number of journals which content is available over the internet.

Every semester; instructors are required to prepare a course portfolio for each course they are teaching. This is part of the quality qssurance program of the university. A committee reviews these portfolios and may make comments and suggestions to the instructor for improvement of the course or part of it.

Mid-term exam is optional and usually lasts 1 hour and a half; it is usually scheduled on the semester’s 8th week. Final exam is mandatory and lasts 3 hours; it is usually scheduled during the semester’s 16th week.
