Staff: Academic and Administrative - Working at Siam

Salary is paid on the last working day of the month. You bank account is automatically credited.

Housing allowance, if applicable, is paid by cheque on the last working day of the month. Staff must obtain the cheque from the personnel department located in building 1 at the entrance of the campus.

Overtime wages are paid by cheque 15 days from the time the overtime sheets have been submitted to the personnel department, which means that they are paid about 2 weeks after the end of the month. Staff should not forget to sign the time sheet in the supplementary pay folder before leaving the office every time they teach.One time sheet is used per course and per month. Please keep in mind that incomplete or incorrect sheet will result in the delay of the payment process for all teachers in your department. June is paid with July; September with October; and summer terms are paid at the end of the term (2 months together).

 

Personal income tax and social security are automatically deducted from your salary and overtime payments.

Social Security Print

All staff are coverd by an insurance from the Office of Social Security, an organization attached to the Ministry of Labor and Social Welfare.

Bank Account Print
Staff: Academic and Administrative - Working at Siam

The university automatically opens a bank account at the on-campus bank (TMB Bank) for all full-time employee.

If you wish to open an additional bank account elsewhere, you will need, as an non-Thai, to provide a copy of your work permit and a copy of your passport. A letter of recommendation from your employer may be required as well.
